Legend has it that the opportunity to join the fabulous team at Imageland is almost as rare as finding Kiwi birds on a rugby field in broad daylight. But the opportunity to become a Picture Framer at Imageland is like trying to find the kiwi on an Australian rugby field in broad daylight! Better still, we have two positions available!
We are an established, busy picture framing & photographic specialist retail store in the heart of Frankton, Hamilton. We are a small but dedicated team who enjoy developing creative and practical solutions for our clients, cups of tea, quiz nights, great banter and Secret Santa surprises.
The Picture Framer roles are creative, fun & highly varied – from designing bespoke solutions for our clients, production of custom frames & readymade frames, retail sales & some photographic work. You should have an interest in décor, photography and/or art, enjoy helping clients achieve their vision, basic maths skills, a keen eye for detail & a positive ‘can do’ attitude. If you know a bit about working with timber and have experience using tools & machinery such as saws, that would be nifty, but not essential.

*T’s & C’s: Two Positions are available. One position is approx. 16 hours a week, one position is approx. 32 hours a week. We operate 6 days a week (Mon – Sat); whilst the specific days/hours are negotiable & flexible with the successful applicants, Mondays &/or Saturdays will be required for these roles. Additional hours can be available to cover leave & busy periods like Christmas.
