This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven candidate to join Campbell + Co one of Auckland's leading communication agencies delivering some of New Zealand's most iconic PR campaigns and events, for top local and international brands.
This is a creative, integrated agency so no day will look the same. You'll be guaranteed a variety of scope across PR, experiential, social media, content and influencer engagement.
You're a multi-talented communications professional, switched on, dynamic and results-driven comfortable working across campaigns that blur the definition of PR & Social.
You will be tertiary qualified, with 5-7 years of consumer PR experience ideally gained in a local agency working on premium, consumer lifestyle brands.
We need someone who is hands on with strong strategic communications, planning, budget and management skills. You will be a team leader, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
We are a small, tight knit team that strives to be the best, so we need someone with initiative and drive and most importantly someone who can work well in our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Line management of a PR agency team of Account Managers and Account Executives
- Managing client relationships – delivering intelligent informed counsel and communications solutions
- Managing PR strategies and activity for a portfolio of clients
- Using your experience to inform the management of issues, realising opportunities and being across all PR budgets
- New Business planning and pitching
Essential skills and experience:
- 5-7 years of consumer PR experience
- Excellent client handling skills
- Well-developed strategic, planning and creative PR skills, including proposal writing
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong local media contacts and media relations skills
- Management ability to lead, inspire and develop a team
- Good existing knowledge of content, social and digital
- Commercial awareness with the ability to create and manage budgets
- Good overall IT skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT
