The Company
The Institute of Directors (IoD), is a professional membership body promoting excellence in corporate governance, and providing essential services for boards and directors. Benefits for its 8,700 members include professional development, events and networking opportunities.
 
The Role
The IoD turns 30 in 2019 and will launch a refreshed brand and a significant digital upgrade. This is where you come in. You’ll contribute at a strategic level to the marketing plan providing input into the IoD’s identity for the next 30 years, and roll up your sleeves to help roll out the plan, as part of a fresh but focused Brand, Marketing and Communications Team. The role is for an initial term of one year.
 
The Person
You will be an experienced marketer with a well-stocked digital and brand toolbox. Leading the professional marketing activities you are comfortable liaising with key stakeholders, able to share your vision and ideas with the leadership team, members and external partners alike. You can lead people – and will have one direct report – but you’re just as happy in a flat structure. Key to success in this role will be your ability to balance hands-on and strategic input with a mix of energy and calm
