Supply Chain Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Supply Chain Manager in our head office branch in Christchurch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of direct reports and developing a strategic plan to integrate the key elements of our supply chain across the business operations. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in senior supply chain roles.

As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.

You will be fully responsible for all the supply chain functions from international freight movements and legislative/regulatory requirements through to warehousing and will demonstrate strong communication skills, B2B and B2C communication experience is required to ensure the efficient and professional management of all supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will need to be pragmatic in their leadership, and act in a professional manner when dealing with complex and varied requirements. You will have the ability to positively influence across the organisation, be able to perform under pressure and handle a high work load. You will demonstrate a commercial acumen and have knowledge within a similar industry- preferably capital equipment, engine and consumables related, you will have a strong drive and passion for continued improvement.

You will work efficiently to reduce cost, improve order accuracy and managing that we have the right products in the right place at the right times. You must have a high attention to detail with good time management.

Ultimately you will be passionate about all aspects of the supply chain and your previous experience will be able to demonstrate this and your successes.
