An exciting opportunity exists for an outstanding credit control professional with exceptional communication skills to join a forward thinking, engaging, industry-leading organisation based in Christchurch. Our client is seeking a numbers-focused person to join their accounts team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Daily receipting and allocation of payments
- Managing collection activities
- Daily reconciliations of accounts
- Following up on and escalating accounts
- Setting up new customers inline with the company policy
- Provide support to the wider finance team
- Reporting to senior management
Skills and experience:
- Accounts receivable experience with some credit control exposure preferred
- Ability to engage with Clients over the phone
- A high-level user of MS Office, particularly Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Resilient, engaging with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
