About the role
Our client is a well-established accounting firm with a proven reputation. Their clients represent a broad range of industries and include sole traders, medium sized businesses, and high net worth individuals and their related investments and portfolios.
A position now exists for an organized, reliable and efficient Accounting Technician to join the team.
Reporting to a senior accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing month-end accounts
- Financial reporting
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Payroll
- Tax returns
- Preparing GST
- Reconciliations
- Ad hoc projects
Does this sound like you?
- Ability to pick up new systems
- Proficient in Xero
- CA experience or accounting qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience working in a team based environment
