About the role
Our Unanderra Branch is currently seeking experienced Conveyor Technicians; the successful candidate will be responsible for conveyor maintenance, repairs, installations including replacement parts and general maintenance to conveyor components. The candidate would also have the opportunity to assist conveyor belt crews with conveyor belt installations, conveyor belt splicing, conveyor belt maintenance & repairs, lagging of pulleys, rubber lining of spools and conveyor idler, skirts and belt cleaner maintenance. Ideally you would have a mechanical, fitting, boiler making back ground. Additionally, the candidate should be reliable, punctual, have a good attitude with a proven track record, team player who is familiar with using safe working methods and high attention to detail.

To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Possess a strong commitment to WH&S in the workplace
- Self motivated
- Good observation, fault finding and communication skills both verbal and written
- Conveyor Industry experience
- Solid communication and organisation skills
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- "C" class drivers licence
- Willingness to learn and follow instruction
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Takes ownership of a task and commitment to long term employment
- Willingness to participate in a pre-placement medical (including ongoing drug & alcohol testing)
