ABOUT THE ROLE
Wilson Security is seeking Control Room Operators to work at our state of the art Operations Centre at Belmont, the only one of its kind in WA.
Operations Centre Operators are responsible for supporting the operational requirements for the delivery of a security service 24/7. This role will offer the appropriate candidate a dynamic and challenging work environment.
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to;
- Directing the appropriate response for; alarms, incidents or emergencies.
- Radio Communications
- Monitoring service levels
- Providing direction to Wilson security staff responding to an incident or emergency
- Ensuring that all reports are completed in a timely manner
- Responding to customer and employee enquiries
- Scheduling and rostering duties
- Data entry and general administration duties
To succeed in this role, the person we are looking for will:
- Have a current WA Security Licence
- Have a current First Aid Certificate
- Work well in a team environment
- Have a high level of computer literacy
- Work well under pressure
- Have excellent multi-tasking skills
- Have a strong work ethic
- Be flexible to work either a set or rotating roster
- Be available to work on a 24/7 shift basis
Previous Control Room or Call Centre experience would be highly regarded but is not essential. Training in our IT systems and customer management procedures will be provided.
