A well recognised and established client of ours is currently looking for an experienced National Technical & Service Manager to insure that all Technical and Service Related issues and outcomes are managed correctly. The estimated fleet size that you will be required to manage is 1000units. consisting of Forklifts, front end loaders and cranes which may involve internal and external customers.
The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm but you can expect to have to do some over time if something breaks down out side of those hours you can expect to receive a call notifying you.
The Salary for this role is $95K + a car but there is room to negotiate depending on your experience and what you can bring to the role.
Main duties of this role are:
- Maintaining & Monitoring the condition of the fleet, HRs, Services, Impacts, Driver Incidents then escalating issues to the appropriate people.
- Responsible for setting and management of the R & M Budget for each piece of equipment
- Negotiating with suppliers rates.
- Manage all fleet management site set up information
- Co-ordinating emergency repairs and breakdown to minimise lost time.
- Assist BDM with Machine Hand overs and training
- Deal with customer enquiries.
- Maintain and review major breakdown log and communicate with Fleet Manager and other sites around Australia.
This role does require someone with experience so please only apply if you have done a similar role be for. This role is based in Melbourne but we are willing to take someone that lives in a different state if they are willing to travel to Melbourne for training at the start and then as needed throughout the year.
