This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support the Maintenance team in Gove, Northern Territory. Working 5:2 roster, 11 hours per day. Your point of hire will be Gove and surrounding areas. Must be willing to relocate as this position is not FIFO, housing will be provided.
About the job
Reporting to the Village Manager, you will manage sub contractctors, onsite trades personnel, manage scope of works including planned maintenance schedules and minor works, and ensure QA policies, permit processes and procedures are adhered to. As the Maintenance Supervisor you will play a vital role in ensuring contract obligations and site safety procedures are adhered to, reporting of hazards and ensuring all equipment is well maintained.
You will manage and supervise maintenance standards in accordance with the scope of works and the maintenance roster. You will complete maintenance reports, monthly reports and ad hoc reports as requested by management all the while maintaining a high level of service and client satisfaction.
About you
You will have experience in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate the proven ability to support a technical project team. The nature of this role requires you to have ample experience managing teams of Trade personnel within a large corporate organisation coupled with a proven ability to deliver consistent service and meet contractual targets according to budget constraints and the scope of work.
You will have an appropriate building and / or trade qualification coupled with demonstrated supervisor experience in the building/facilities maintenance industry. You will have, comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements, regulations and standards, a proven record in financial and budget management and broad people management skills including performance management. Intermediate to Advanced Excel and computer literacy are essential for this role.
