We are currently seeking an experienced and trade qualified motor mechanic, with good leadership skills for this 2IC role in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.

Our client is one of the largest service, repair and tyre retailers in the country, recognised for their modern equipment, excellent working conditions, and outstanding customer service.  

Role
  
This is a hands-on mechanic role with supervisory/leading hand duties. You will be responsible for both overseeing the technical work and assisting in front line customer servicing when needed. You are expected to help in ensuring quality service as well as meeting sales and profitability targets by enhancing productivity through effective team management, delegation, follow up and excellent scheduling of jobs. A solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and the ability to identify training opportunities for the team in all operational areas are also essentials. 
 
Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic, 
• Relevant lead role experience in the auto retail service industry,
• Excellent management and customer service skills,
• Strong drive to succeed and a genuine interest to build a career, and
• Valid driver's license.
