Against this backdrop we are now seeking a suitably experienced Maintenance and Service Electrician to join our operations on a permanent basis looking after two distribution centre's based in Eastern Creek and Smeaton Grange.
Reporting to the National Technical Manger your key responsibilities will see you:
- Take full responsibility for the delivery of maintenance services for two distribution centres
- Respond to any reactive maintenance work in a timely and efficient manner
- Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed time lines
- Completion of planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Communicate with all key internal stakeholders on a weekly basis and providing regular updates
- Other basic to intermediate electrical and service work as it arises
To be considered for this role you will have the following experiences and attributes:
- A grade qualified Electrician
- Previous experience in a similar role within a large DC or manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in fault finding, electrical and general maintenance work
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Willing to travel to two different DC's (Eastern Creek and Smeaton Grange)
- Committed to continuous improvements and quality customer service
- Be on call and work overtime when required
- Willing to undertake a medical
