The Company is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join its Maintenance Team at its processing facility in Nhill, Victoria.

The processing plant is long-established in Nhill and is recognised as having achieved world class standards in the poultry industry. Continual investment in upgrading plant and equipment is complemented by strong, mature operating systems and procedures.

The Maintenance Team has adopted a Best Practice Model focusing on safety, building a strong infrastructure, high plant reliability, and continuous improvement. The team utilises a computerised maintenance management system.

The role is broad in scope and varied covering preventive maintenance activities, capital projects, and plant and equipment modifications to drive improved performance and reliability.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence with a sound knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.

• Experience in PLC and HMI programming. Certificate IV in Electrical is desirable.

• Extensive experience in processing plant and equipment preventive maintenance.

• Experience working in the food processing and / or pharmaceuticals industry.

• Sound knowledge of food safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice disciplines.

• Competent in systematic fault finding and problem-solving including root cause analysis.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and plant and equipment technical data sheets and specifications.

• Computer skills proficiency.

This is a full time role with a requirement to be on an On Call Roster.
