This company manufactures conveyors and elevator solutions primarily for the food and packaging industry. Solely Australian owned and based in the southeastern suburbs, they boasts an enviable client base of multinational manufacturers.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced full time Mechanical Fitter / Conveyor Technician to join there friendly team. Reporting to the General Manager, the Mechanical fitter / Conveyor Technician is primarily responsible for the assembly of conveyors which include modular side flexing conveyors, elevators, wide belt conveyors and belt conveyors (PVC).
This is a pivotal role within this growing business where you will get to create and deliver designs and hardware to there clients.
your key responsibilities will include assembly of aluminium and stainless-steel conveyors and site installation and maintenance activities. If suitable you may also get involved in workshop management and coordination.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
- Trade qualifications.
- Conveyor industry experience.
- Experience as a fitter in a workshop environment.
- Workshop assembly experience.
- Mechanical understanding.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Solid communication and organisation skills.
