AMPD Electronics is a growing Brisbane based business with a varied portfolio of small and large audio visual projects across South East Queensland.
Our growth over the past few years has created openings for experienced Installers/Technicians to join our team.
AMPD Electronics focuses on high quality finishes, customisation and attention to detail, therefore we are looking for professional motivated individuals who are pride themselves on producing exceptional work.

Role Capabilties
- Installation of Audio Visual equipment
- Installation of cabling and terminations
- Site visits, fault finding and reporting
- Systems integration and programming
- Operate test equipment for commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment
- Provide technical support/handover training to customers
- Working with the Operations Coordinator to ensure project delivery is on time and to the required standards
- Maintaining records and documentation
Skills Required
- A good understanding of audio visual design principles
- Ability to interpret schematics and plans
- Ability to perform on-site testing and basic commissioning as required
- Ability to build and populate racks in a neat and structured manner
- Provide end user handovers for basic installations as required
- Ability to solder wires and electronic components
- Knowledge of analogue and digital circuits
- Knowledge of basic IT and networks
- Construction white is required
- EWP, Rigging, Scaffold, Open Cablers tickers are beneficial
- Trade qualification in electronics, communications or audio visual is desirable.

- A proficient installation technician/repair technician with a great attitude
- A minimum of 3 years commercial AV experience
- A mature, professional and friendly communication style
- Represent the company with high degrees of professionalism
- Efficient time management & organisational skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability & willingness to work at heights
- Manual driver's license QLD
