About the Client
Golding Contractors delivers a full range of open cut mining services in the coal and metalliferous mining sectors, spanning the entire mine development and operations. About the Role
Ongoing opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Diesel Fitters who will contribute to the successful operations of this mine site. You will work within the maintenance crew in the workshop servicing and repairing ancillary equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- General Maintenance to mobile plant equipment
- Maintenance and Repairs to Trucks, Dozers, Excavators, Graders, Loaders
- An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential
- Follow all mine site procedures including equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Diesel Fitter role
- Trade certificate
- Experience on heavy equipment including – CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Beneficial tickets – Working at Heights, Forklift, Crane etc.
