A-GRADE ELECTRICIAN / SOLAR INSTALLER

City to Surf Solar+ are a locally owned and operated solar and electrical company. We specialise in solar power system installation (grid connect and stand-alone), battery back-up systems, LED and solar lighting, energy and data monitoring, heat pump hot water systems and general electrical services across the Geelong region and beyond.

We are currently seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician and or Solar Installer to join our highly qualified and dedicated team. 

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Solid experience working in the electrical trade

• Sound knowledge of the solar and renewable energy industry

• A background in technical problem solving, fault finding and diagnostics

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Basic computer literacy 

• An understanding of OH&S guidelines and how these relate to the responsibilities of the job

• The ability to follow work instructions and procedures, with the ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a team

• High level of accuracy, precision and attention to detail

• A consistent, reliable and committed attitude to work so that tasks are completed within set timeframes

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Trade certificate A-Grade electrical licence / 3rd year apprentice

• Current Victorian drivers licence

• General building and construction knowledge 

• Working with heights permit or a willingness to obtain one

• Elevated work platform preferred

• White card preferred
