Chandler Macleod are currently recruiting reliable workers with an excellent work ethic and ongoing availability. We are seeking Service Technicians and Mechanical Assemblers to work across the production line. Applicants with Assembly experience, whether at work or at home doing work on cars, renovations, building, electrical work, using hand tools and power tools such as drills, huck guns, grinders etc. are encouraged to apply.
We have current vacancies in the Final Line, Final Test areas where qualified or experienced Service Technicians are required! Your expertise and experience will be required to perform diagnostic analysis work as well as a range of testing methods to identify faults and undertake repair work in a busy production environment. Good attention to detail along with a strong mechanical background is essential.
We also have vacancies in the Frame Assembly line; roles will include Pre-Piping, Fixture, Middle Piping, Axles, Drive Lines and Final Frame. You will need to be physical fit as some heavy lifting with heavy power tools is required in some of the areas.
Other Role Opportunities include: • Experienced Spray Painters & Preppers
Qualities that we are looking for:
• Strong team player who can work in a dynamic and diverse work environment
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• General Power and Hand tool experience - such as screw drivers, spanners, drill usage etc.
• Good physical fitness - you will be working on your feet and climbing in and out of truck cabins
• Reliability -you are part of a team that will rely on you to not let them down.
You will also be required to supply checkable phone references and participate in a pre-employment medical prior to commencement which will include a drug/alcohol testing.
Typical Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3.30pm overtime applies as required.
Pay Rates Day Shift $35+ (higher if Trade Qualified)
These positions are highly sort after and offer ongoing casual work (5 days + overtime as required) for these build projects.
