About the Role
Due to growth we are seeking a trade qualified Spray Painter to join our Paint Shop team at our Newcastle Branch. This role is on a lifestyle day roster which is a 12 hour, 7 day rotating roster (12/7) day shift only (5 days on, 4 days off, 5 days on 4 days off, 5 days on 5 days off).
The successful applicant will be required to prepare and paint machines and components on a range of Caterpillar equipment.
Essential Criteria:
- Trade Certificate Spray Painting (Automotive Preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work well within a team
- Dedicated attitude to maintaining safe work practices and work environment
- Flexibility to work shift rosters
- Able to work competently unsupervised
Desirable Criteria:
- Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
- Able to work overtime and/or extra shifts as required
- Nationally accredited Dogging Ticket
- Nationally accredited forklift ticket
- Working at heights qualification/s
