Western Work Force is an Australian owned recruitment company and are a market leader in providing temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions across various industry sectors.
Our Client is a well-established International Mechanical Services provider specialising mainly in Hydraulic repairs to heavy and commercial equipment across a wide-range of industry sectors. Due to business growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mobile Service Technician with a main responsibility of servicing their Victoria based and site clients with installations and repairs. This position requires you to use your hands on practical experience and skills in mechanical/hydraulic repairs combined with a strong customer focus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations and testing on Hydraulic components and associated equipment
- Hydraulic hose assembly and change out
- Fault-Finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting
- Hydraulic system servicing
- Hydraulic system fault finding and testing
- Lubrication system service and maintenance
- Writing Technical reports, outlining defects and offering best solutions
- Regular customer contact and client management, offering best solution
- Providing Technical advice/support
- Part requisition and purchasing as required
- Maintain accurate work records
- Maintain clean work space area whilst on clients site
- General reporting, attending workshop meetings and general administrative duties
- Conduct best work practise
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Previous experience gained in a Mechanical/Hydraulics or Service Technician role
- Ideally hold a Mechanical Trade qualification or Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer focussed, and solution focussed
- Excellent time management
- Previous experience with Technical report writing and analysis
- Good attention to detail
- Good PC skills
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
