An amazing opportunity is now available for an experienced Service Supervisor to join the team based at our Chipping Norton location ;to become vital key members in the Daikin team.

Our Opportunity:

The Service Supervisor will be responsible for  managing a dynamic team of service technicians, to ensure effective use of resources as well as provide technical support to service technicians and technical expertise on site as required.  Reporting into the Service Manager; some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to the following:

  • Provide daily operational direct supervision to technicians and service co-ordinators. This includes analyse and review staff performance to identify training and development needs.
  • Provide technical support to technicians on the road or in the workshop including attending work sites to resolve problem issues or service issues in dispute.
  • Coordinate and manage customer complaints associated with service issues, by providing or investigating issues and advising parties involved to ensure satisfactory resolution for both customer and Daikin.
  • Provide guidance and support on new legislation and safety issues to technicians.
  • Ensure service levels are maintained and potential problems/issues are addressed.
  • Identify process improvements or design technical guides on problem issues to support the dealers or service technicians on site.
  • Prepare performance reports and additional ad-hoc reports as required

The Right Person

To be considered for this opportunity; candidates will need to have:

  • A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience, within the HVAC servicing industry
  • Must have a current Australian refrigeration handling licence, an Electrical Workers License (B Class) and a current NSW Driver's license.
  • Strong experience in hands on supervising and consistently motivating a highly valued and dynamic team
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems easily
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees and suppliers
  • A customer service based outlook 
  • A real team player attitude with the belief Daikin's values and philosophies. 

This role could also suit a senior service technician who has steady experience who is looking to take their next step.
