The Role:


Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader and based at our Tantula Rise Retirement community in Alexandra Headlands, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time Maintenance Officer to join our team.

This position will undertake the regular corrective and routine maintenance around the site including buildings, equipment and grounds area.


About You

This position would be ideally suited to an experienced Handyman, Groundskeeper or Landscaper seeking permanent stability in a leadership role.


Our ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in general maintenance duties including plant operation, hand tools and the ability to plan the maintenance schedule
• Excellent communication skills
• Good computer skills with the ability to record, log and produce maintenance reports
• An understanding of the importance of maintaining compliance with RSL Care's accreditation policies and procedures
• The ability to liaise professionally with external contractors to obtain quotes and ensure outcomes are met in a timely manner.
