About the business and the role
Our company, although recently formed, has been operating as a sole proprietorship for some 18 months. Its directors come with a vast range of experience both on the tools and across various industries.
The business has experienced significant growth, partnering with local Real Estate businesses to provide residential maintenance services. In addition to maintenance services, in a short period of time we have built a pipeline of work in the bathroom, kitchen and laundry categories.
The work is diverse and although has been predominantly based in the Inner City & South East Suburbs is growing right across Melbourne.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Over time it is expected the successful candidate will be operating autonomously, completing jobs on behalf of customers and partners. Initially you will be working alongside one of the directors, getting to know each other and fostering a strong working relationship.
Quality outcomes and customer service are paramount to the continued growth of the business and we are seeking employees who bring a focus to these two areas with everything they do.
Skills and experience
A qualified tradesman ideally with experience across a number of disciplines, for example:
- Carpentry - framing, deckling, pergolas etc
- Kitchen & bathroom renovation experience
- Tiling & waterproofing
- Plastering & painting
It is not mandatory that you hold all of these skills, candidates with experience in one or more of these areas will be considered.
