• Permanent Full Time position working in various Adelaide locations

Reporting to the Trade Team Leader this newly created role is responsible for the painting of all ACH Groups assets. You will be required to carry out painting to a high quality and in a timely fashion to ensure projects are completed on time.

• Ensure all buildings, fixtures and fittings are maintained and painted as directed ensuring a high standard of product quality
• Responsible for the maintenance and security of all company tools
• Prioritise and attend to urgent repairs of any description required by customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of times and materials used on all maintenance requisitions
• Monday – Friday with occasional overtime and call outs
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of exceptional services, thereby supporting ACH Group’s promise of ‘Good Lives for Older People’

Along with proactively supporting the Trade Team to ensure the shared achievement of the Housing Division, and organisational objectives, goals and outcomes are met.

What will set you apart from the rest:

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to engage positively with a wide range of personnel to achieve desired outcomes. Along with an eye for detail and excellent time management skills you will also possess:

• A current Drivers Licence
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Certificate III in Painting & decorating
• Hold a current WHS White Card for work safety
• Be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge about the importance of older people being able to live a good life
• Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products
• A current “Working at Heights” certificate (desirable)

All short-listed candidates will be required to undertake a Functional Capacity Assessment.

A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check no older than 12 months at commencement of employment.
