Andrews High Tech Automotive is an automotive repair workshop located in the heart of Maroochydore. Currently we employ 28 energetic and highly talented people who tend to the several divisions within the business. Among these are our European specialist division, a 4WD division, our performance division incorporating a high horsepower all wheel drive dyno (AHT Performance) Another division of our business focuses on vehicle telematics (AHT Telematics) which employs a full time business development manager focusing on new sales prospects. At present we incorporate the talents of our current team of Auto Electricians to facilitate the installation of Telematic equipment. Daily work demands within the business make it very difficult to be without technicians for field operation work, as a result the need for a field service technician has been realised.
Role and Responsibilities
- A desire to work on all forms of vehicles and mobile machinery
- Have a high attention to detail and quality
- Be a fully Qualified Auto Electrician
- A Competent understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and onboard technology systems
- Be Computer literate a have skills and ability to learn new software programs
- Be a self-starter, disciplined and be able to work alone unsupervised and within defined time requirements
- Have a good level of physical fitness with an ability to handle a demanding environment
- Hold a current and valid manual driver license with a good driving history
- Have a welcoming, friendly and helpful personality
- Installation, service and repair of Vehicle Cellular/GPS Tracking Systems and Dash Cams to vehicles
- Mobile onsite work across the Sunshine Coast Region from Brisbane to Bundaberg at client Locations
- Full-time position - some flexibility in working hours required, with occasional weekend work
- Fully Maintained Company Vehicle provided for business related activities and travel.
- Negotiable salary package including, mobile phone, tablet device and or laptop and required testing equipment
- Police check and Driving History check will be required
- This position may require extensive travel within Queensland and with long periods away from home.
- When not required for duties in this role, person will be required to carry out automotive electrical duties as and when directed by employer.
