METTLER TOLEDO, the world's largest manufacturer of Weighing and Product Inspection equipment and one of the leading suppliers of Analytical instruments. Due to growth and the addition of another Test Truck to our fleet, has an opportunity for a team player to take a role in our Service Team based out of the company's Malaga Office. Provision for Truck Parking South of the river can be made for an employee living in this area of Perth.
This outstanding opportunity is for an experienced truck driver to operate the company test truck and forklift for the maintenance and calibration of weighbridges located throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Field Service Technicians and attend training classes, both on-line and in-classroom
- Complete statutory record keeping on time
- Comply with ISO standards as required
- Assist and cooperate with Service Coordinators and Service Schedulers, who will assign jobs
- Ensure productivity standards are met and include assurance of data integrity of the Service department database
- Participate in developing and maintaining a feeling of teamwork within the service department
- Be responsible for informing the Service Manager of first line customer complaints
- Ensure test truck and fork lift service and maintenance and basic vehicle care requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Submit all paperwork in a timely and professional manner
EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE
- HC truck licence, forklift licence, and confined space training certificate
- High School Diploma and or TAFE Certificate II qualification
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Please note that frequent overnight travel is a regular requirement of this role to maximize efficiency while performing regular duties.
