Your new role
Based on the south side of Brisbane in Archerfield, you will be responsible for the mechanical repair, maintenance and testing of heavy vehicles, engines and other related mechanical components. Some of the activities you will be involved in are:

• Maintain all aspects of heavy vehicles to relevant state transport legislation and standards. This will include diagnosing, overhauling, repairing, tuning and testing vehicles;
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services and break down fault diagnosis;
• Test drive and/or operate heavy vehicles and equipment to ensure repairs have been completed correctly;
• Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored clean and correctly; and
• Complete all paperwork and records accurately

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need advanced diagnostic skills, an ability to problem solve and deliver a high level of service with your extensive experience on heavy truck fleets. Experience with Kenworth, MAC & Iveco amongst other leading brands will be highly regarded. An A trade certificate in Heavy Diesel, prior experience on Highway trucks would be advantageous.
