Your new company
Hays are working with an Australian manufacturer of commercial and industrial Plastic pipe systems. This established company are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to be based at their site in Western Sydney on Day Shift. This role commences immediately for the right candidate.
Your new job
You will be working as part of the Maintenance team, tasked with the day-to-day running of the sites electrically driven production equipment, associated plant/equipment and fixed property.
- You will be responsible for keeping the equipment performing at its required production rate, maintaining a preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.
- Your new role will be on day shift, and is quite autonomous. There is a collaborative maintenance team on site, which sits among a broader production team of 25+.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a trade qualified maintenance electrician and have an excellent understanding faultfinding and repair on plastic production machinery ideally extrusion or similar production equipment.
- You must hold a valid NSW Electrical Licence.
- You will be able to pull on prior experience working in a manufacturing site as part of a small maintenance team on both continuous production lines and stand alone production equipment.
- Confined Space ticket is desirable.
- EWP is also desired but not essential.
