About the role
We have a passionate and highly experienced team of occupational hygienists, scientists and project managers working on some of Victoria’s most challenging hazardous materials management projects across the commercial, industrial and government property sector.
The role of Principal Consultant leads our team of OHS consultants, technicians and administrators in their day-to-day project activities and is essentially responsible for:
- Managing the execution of large scale and complex projects – including scoping, cost estimates, tender submissions, technical input, client reporting, project scheduling, resourcing and budgets
- Managing key client relationships, generating new business and achieving the annual sales plan for the practice
- Developing compelling pursuit strategies and proposals
- Managing financial performance to achieve budget
- Providing technical guidance and developing specialist capability within the team
About you
For success in this role, you’ll have extensive experience in HAZMAT, asbestos air monitoring and surveying requirements and occupational hygiene practices within construction or related industries.
You have a reputation for managing and developing teams to deliver high quality project deliverables to tight timescales.
With an understanding of the operating model of a specialist consulting business, you’ll be able to manage financial performance to achieve budgets and annual operating plans.
Importantly, you’ll be confident in identifying opportunities, preparing winning tenders and proposals and leveraging your strong client and industry relationships throughout Victoria to build the business and grow market share.
