The Client:
Our client is a major shopping centre owner and manager within the retail industry. They are seeking a Marketing Manager or very experienced Marketing Executive looking to step up to become a Marketing Manager and be located within one of their shopping centres on the north side of Brisbane. This role will require someone with strong existing leadership, wanting to make a real difference in the local community.

The Role:
• Responsible for building and maintaining a market presence
• Ensuring the centre is marketed in a manner reflective of its status
• Develop and implement marketing and business planning incorporating appropriate strategies for all facets of marketing of the centre and for actively managing tenant relations
• Ability to use your creative skills to reach out to your customers and assist retailers in generating higher sales and strong awareness
• Engaging with the local community groups and driving these initiatives forward with success
 
The Candidate:
• A background in Marketing, Public Relations or Events Management with a degree in marketing or related discipline is ideal but not essential
• Experience working within a shopping centre marketing environment is essential
• A working knowledge of all traditional, digital and social media/relationship marketing tools.
• A positive approach to meeting client's needs whilst managing tenant expectations.
• Experience in maintaining and managing accurate data, budgets and cash flow analysis.
• A demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight operational and financial deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
