About the role


Working as part of the Property and Development team, the Property Services Manager will provide leadership and oversight for our Queensland and Mid North Coast NSW homes. 

The key focus of this role is to manage the day to day operations of the property services function including the buildings, grounds and major assets under the allocated portfolio and provide specialist advice and expertise on assess management to ensure the delivery of an effective maintenance program framework.

The Property Services Manager will work closely with facility maintenance staff to provide guidance and support on all property related matters, conduct audits to ensure all legislative requirements are being met and ensure a high standard of property presentation is maintained. In addition, the Property Services Manager will manage budget spend across repairs, maintenance and capital works and well as lead and manage large property projects.

About you:
You’ll bring to the role your energy, passionate and caring nature, and you will have:

  • 5 years' experience in aged care/health care environment in a Property Services Management capacity
  • Property audit experience and an understanding of the aged care accreditation framework
  • Project and Facilities Management experience
  • Experience in project cost analysis, record management, WHS, risk management and trade and supplier contract management
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Trade Qualification (Advantage)
  • Must hold a current driver’s license
  • Commitment to keeping yourself and others safe
