A position has become available for a Commercial Property Manager in our Commercial Property Management Department reporting to the Manager.
This role is focused on our trust account operation and requires a person who holds a current registration certificate and who has had experience in the operation of a trust account.
The role includes but is not limited to;
- Daily entering and processing of creditor or third-party invoices.
- Recharging invoices where required.
- Processing disbursements.
- Daily receipting and trust account bank reconciliations.
- Mid-month and end of month processing of the trust account.
- Collating and forwarding monthly reports.
- Undertaking end of month roll over.
- Ensuring trust account compliance with all audit requirements and reporting.
- Responding to Lessors queries in relation to charges, allocations or monthly reports.
- Responding to tenant enquires in relation to invoices or ledgers
- Completion of REIQ documentation including Management agreements and various disclosure statements.
- Initiating and co ordinating maintenance
The role requires efficient management of the trust account but does have potential for involvement in other areas of Commercial property management and provides a solid platform for a career in Commercial Property Management
About You
- You must hold a current registration certificate (Property Occupations Act).
- 1+ years' property management with exposure to trust accounting. Consideration may be given to an applicant with residential trust account experience.
- Proven track record and understanding of Trust Account processes and requirements
- Financial comprehension and basic accounting skills
- Proficient in the MS suite (particularly Excel and Word) and previous use of software such as ADEPT would be well regarded.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
