We are looking for an assistant building manager to work in a stylish heritage listed building in Pyrmont. The successfully candidate will work as part of a team in a fast paced, fun and yet challenging environment. Excellent entry level opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn building management, this is a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced building manager who will oversee all operations and will be available for guidance. This is an active client facing role, and you must be comfortable dealing with all residents, strata and the respective executive committees.
What you will do:
- Assist with the day to day management of the complex
- Have a very neat and tidy appearance
- Problem solve a variety of day to day issues to deliver the best possible outcomes
- Get quotes for maintenance matters
- Effectively manage all on site contractors, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard
- Liaising with owners, executive committee members and service providers via email, over the phone and through drafting reports
- Maintaining up to date documentation and photo evidence of repairs and maintenance
- Security key ledgers and re-issues
The Successful Applicant:
Building Management experience (preferred but not essential)
Well-presented & well-spoken with a personality to suit
Mature Minded and Customer Service focused
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fun enthusiastic team player
Monday - Friday hours 9:00am - 5:00pm

- 3 month Minimum contract with a possibility to extend
