Our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services business line works with some of the world's leading organisations to provide them onsite Facility Management solutions.

We manage concierge through to cleaning services, as well as reactive & preventative maintenance, engineering & safety. We also look at their leasing & property requirements. IFM can also analyse and offer solutions on how to decrease their environmental footprint.

What this job involves

Great opportunity to join one of the high-profile portfolio teams at JLL. You’ll apply building maintenance skills in new ways, as part of a new line of business for our client. JLL are developing means and methods by which facilities, systems and assets are managed throughout their lifecycle.

You’ll manage a team of Technicians working multiple shifts performing maintenance & repair on client equipment and facilities systems.

Some of your duties will include but not limited to;

  • Establish relationships with client Site Leads, business partners such as EHS leads & FM clientele to establish trust & credibility in the delivery of FM services
  • Resolve FM issues at sites, escalating when needed
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians as needed to ensure operations are aligned  with the site and portfolio goals
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods & services against contracts

Sound like you?  This is what we’re looking for:

You’ve had success in leading teams preferably in an industrial environment and you’ll have solid knowledge of building/ mechanical, electrical systems. Some exposure to conveyance, process control or powered trucks would be advantageous.

It would be great if you have experience with managing facilities teams, budget responsibilities, supplier management and client/ customer relations.

A demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight operational & financial deadlines is vital to the success of this role, as is a positive approach to meeting clients’ needs whilst managing tenant expectations.

 

The role is a full-time position working standard JLL hours (8:30 am – 5:00 pm), yet if a rostered technician is off sick or on leave, you may need to be flexible and be able to cover the relevant shift if & when required.
