The Company
My client is a privately owned, multi award winning top tier Builder Developer company with a strong presence throughout Australia. The company has an annual turnover of over $900M and a staff compliment of over 600 staff. The business has a solid reputation in the industry and pride themselves on the projects they deliver.
With an increase in new projects the company is currently seeking a new Commercial / Retail Portfolio manager to lead their team in Sydney.
The Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Commercial / Retail Portfolio Manager to join their amazing team to manage a mixed portfolio of Retail, Commercial, Shopping Centre and apparent assets.
- Develop and manage key tenant/stakeholder relationships
- Establish strategic plans for the assets
- manage the day to day operations of your division
- Maintain the lease and property management database to a high standard
- Develop and maintain a leasing and marketing strategy for the assets
- Provide direction to the marketing team
- Oversee the management of properties acquired for future development
- Communicate regular to all key stakeholders, from Directors to owners of the business
- Prepare reports as required
About you
- Extensive experience as a Commercial Portfolio Manager
- Solid knowledge of Owners Corporation legislation and excellent understanding of retail and commercial leases ((Offices, retail stores, supermarkets)
- Experience managing a division
- Strong knowledge of building and facilities management
- Strong Financial acumen, including understanding of budgets and outgoings
- Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills to deal effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- Must be experienced with marketing activities and allocation of funds appropriately.
