BODY CORPORATE / STRATA MANAGER

Do you love your current position as a Strata Manager, but  your  just overworked and not remunerated for all your efforts.  Well this role is for you!

Our client is in search of a positive, well organised and presented team member to join their company.

The successful candidate will be required to have had experience within the strata industry and be able to manage a portfolio of residential strata schemes, whilst adhering to legislative requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

  1. Maintaining a portfolio of residential buildings;
  2. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with committees, lot owners & building managers;
  3. Attend to various administrative and clerical duties, such as: Schedule meetings; Prepare meeting agendas; Complete minutes of meeting; Attend to actions required post meeting; Prepare written correspondence etc.
  4. Attend and manage meetings whilst providing advice as required;
  5. Responding and attending to incoming and outgoing phone calls/emails.

 Skills and Abilities:

  1. Demonstrated previous body corporate / strata experience;
  2. Proficient in Word and MS Outlook;
  3. The ability to understand and interpret the legislation
  4. Be able to understand financials, budgets, general ledger and other strata accounting processes;
  5. Excellent time management skills;
  6. High attention to detail;
  7. Possess professional customer service and communication skills (via email, phone or face to face);
  8. Positive attitude;
  9. Team oriented;
  10. Knowledge and experience with BC Max preferred.
