An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full time Governance Officer - Administration based in Moranbah. This is a fixed term position for a period of twelve (12) months. Reporting to the Manager Governance and Corporate Services, this position will be responsible for specific high level governance administrative support to the management team and department.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant extensive work experience in an administrative or executive support role. Furthermore, a high level of written and interpersonal skills with knowledge of Microsoft office suite is required. Previous experience within Local Government is essential.

For this position we offer:

• Salary $63,313.88 per annum
• 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro rata
• 12% super (in accordance with policy)
• Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
