Our Story
Our founders always loved the law, especially the in-house way of practising. So, they started a law firm in early 2015. Our law firm is a bit different though. We do interesting work – a mix of complex matters for great clients coupled with a focus on Lean, corporate strategy, legal operations and technology – and we treat our team with immense pride and care. We care deeply about how people feel and what they enjoy.

lexvoco now has three divisions: Continuous Improvement, Legal Services and Technology Solutions. We operate from eight offices throughout Australia and New Zealand, advising organisations throughout the world. Our team includes some of the most well regarded and award-winning leaders in the in-house and legal technology space.      

We’ve experienced tremendous growth in a short amount of time and our incredible clients include the Australian and New Zealand Governments, Red Bull, Airbnb, Santos, BP, the NRL and Air New Zealand to name a few. We’re chuffed to be the only law firm in 2016 and 2017 to be included in the Fast Starters by the Financial Review. We’re the only trans-Tasman “NewLaw” firm. Our data analytics app, MyDay™, has won a few awards too!

How You'll Be Contributing
You’ll be advising our clients on various typical in-house legal matters and on varying projects or assignments. We're currently growing our Technology team - looking for lawyers with strengths in:

• Drafting and negotiating software license terms and general ICT agreements including software agreements and cloud-based solution agreements.  
• Preparing and managing large outsourcing and technology procurement contracts,
• Advising on data privacy and all aspects of privacy law.
• General intellectual property matters.
• Advising on general commercial contracts and BAU work.

You need to know when to be technical and, just as importantly, know when to “let it go”. You need to be super-efficient and eager to learn about new areas of law, Lean and technology.

Given our unique style of working, you’ll need to be comfortable working in varying ways, on different projects - sometimes with our clients on-site, sometimes remotely.
