We are currently seeking a Contracts and Procurement Manager to join our greenfield, design and construct project located in regional NSW. This role will be based in the Sydney office and will work closely with our client to ensure effective contracts and procurement management. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing the contracts process from scoping the contracts through to administration of the contract
- Ensure that project procurement procedures and processes of both WorleyParsons and the client are followed
- Managing stakeholder expectations incorporating an awareness of cultural sensitivities
- Leading a small team with enthusiasm and by example
- Review and approval of documentation in accordance with the project Authorities manual
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Experience managing large industrial construction and operating contracts
- Tertiary qualifications in law or contracts administration
- A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments
- Awareness of the challenges presented by and the ability to work within the constraints of working with an international client
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team and solve problems in a dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required.
- Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
