We are a small business located in the Lower Blue Mountains. We require an Conveyancing Assistant with at least 1-2 years' experience to assist the Licensee. The position is Casual, 2 to 3 days per week initially with the view towards being a full-time role in the future with a successful candidate.
If you have great communication skills, want to be part of a small but supportive team, and have fantastic customer service skills, then we would like to hear from you.
The role will involve:
- Reception duties, greeting clients and answering the telephone.
- Use of a computer including Microsoft office, email, LEAP and other specialised software.
- Performing tasks as directed by the licensee to assist with conveyancing matters.
A successful applicant with have the following attributes and skills:
- Proficient at operating computers and different types of software.
- Experience with LEAP Legal software desired.
- Have an understanding of and ideally proficient in PEXA desired.
- Be a problem solver, good mathematical and written communication skills.
- The ability to communicate well with clients and other parties in person and over the telephone.
- Punctual, well presented and have excellent attention to detail.
- Work effectively and efficiently at all times and be able to follow instructions.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Formal qualifications or currently undertaking study in this area is desirable but not essential.
