Working closely with the Legal Team, you will provide high level support and assist in developing the Legal function at BYCA. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Legal professional to develop a career within a high profile international group.
  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare first draft of corporate forms and simple legal documents such as NDAs, settlement agreements based on precedents, board resolutions and POAs, PCG applications
  • Contract amendments according to negotiation tracking sheets
  • Some printing, copying and filing (including production of A5 bibles of documents and paginating bundles)
  • Manage a range of reporting requirements, producing draft reports for settlement
  • Administrative support – some travel and international and local diary management, expenses and completion/submission of legal team’s timesheets
  • Establish contract management and filing system for head contracts and other client facing and related documents (including POAs and PCGs)
  • Assisting with renewal of practising certificates with The Law Society of NSW
  • Organising international teleconferences, visio conferences and meetings

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate:

  • Significant experience administering document filing systems, ideally experience establishing and implementing one
  • Familiarity with a range of contracts
  • Advanced skills in Word including formatting, automatic numbering, cross referencing etc
  • PPT capabilities, to support management presentations
  • excel capabilities for reporting purposes

Although the ideal candidate would have 10 years previous experience in legal administrative support, preferably in a corporate environment.
