This stable, specialist boutique, is headed up by a global firm alumnus. He has a deep and longstanding network across the tier two and three developer ranks. He is busy mining and expanding this side and is looking for a safe pair of hands to deliver on the technical front.
You can benefit from those introductions, building your own practice and reputation with them, but without the emphasis being on this element. By coming in, it will essentially free him up to take on a quasi-BD Management role.
The construction matters are currently evenly split across front-end and disputes, but with a relatively disputes focused period approaching. Assisting you will be three fee earners in this team who are enthusiastic and building but still in need of mentorship and a guiding hand.
By nature of this structure, opportunity will be afforded to you to build towards SC or Partner, depending on your personal motivators. Expect ideas in relation to growth, strategy or direction for the firm to be welcomed and adopted.
Requirements: you will bring at least seven years’ construction law experience, split across front- and back-end.
