Their Property team is seeking a Senior Associate to assist with advising on some of the country’s most significant property and development transactions.
Description
- Acting for and advising property developers in relation to various projects
- Joint venture arrangements and development agreements
- Liaising with clients on various property related matters
- Contribution to business development and marketing activities and building a sustainable practice
- Acting for property owners in relation to sales and acquisitions of commercial, industrial and residential properties
- Drafting standard and non-standard agreements
- Due diligence, including as part of commercial and M&A transactions
- Providing advice on licensing matters
- Advising on complex leasing and licensing matters
Profile
We are looking for outstanding lawyers to join this Commercial Property group in Sydney with the following qualities:
- 5+ years post admission experience
- a strong knowledge of property developments, strata and community titling, acquisitions, disposals and leasing
- superior analytical and drafting skills
- commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively with clients
- the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- willingness to supervise and mentor lawyers, law clerks and non-legal staff
