We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Professional and Financial Lines Underwriter to join our team in Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to obtain underwriting exposure and working across all regions in Australia, with a portfolio driven for growth opportunities through excellent customer service and delivering high service standards.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team environment, with broad development opportunities, to ensure profitable growth by managing renewals and new business quotes, problem solving and relationship building with intermediaries.
 

The opportunity

• Underwrite new business and renewals providing quotes in a timely and professional manner in line with agreed service standards
• Proactively promote and support QBE Professional and Financial Lines products & services to intermediaries
• Establish and develop good working relationships with intermediaries for the purpose of maintaining and developing profitable business
• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ownership and involvement in team projects and strategic initiatives
