THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for Injury Management Specialists to assist our Claims Advisors working on personal injury claims. Your role is integral to the effectiveness of team providing subject matter expertise on workplace injury management and recovery practices. You will work collaboratively and take a “hands on” approach to working with injured workers, their employers, medical providers and other stakeholders.

This is a permanent or 6 month contract opportunity available in our Parramatta office. 

ABOUT YOU

• You are empathetic and passionate about providing great customer service
• You have strong communication skills and are able to build trust and rapport with stakeholders quickly
• You have previous experience in case management or personal injury management with an Allied Health Degree.
• You are solution focused, able to manage complex situations and possess strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• You embrace change with confidence and are comfortable working collaboratively within a multi-system environment

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advice and support to Claims Advisors and stakeholders on decisions relating to injury management and the communication of these decisions ensuring high levels of empathy, understanding and clarity to all parties
• Develop Injury Management Plans and implement strategies including leveraging relevant resources required in managing claim scenarios
• Ensure the overall quality of injury management decisions through collaboration and ensuring best practice principles are applied in developing solutions
• Proactive identification of trends and promoting discussion and resolution to enhance injury management and return to work outcomes
