We are a General Insurance Brokerage based in Eight Mile Plains and we are seeking a Trainee Insurance Broker to join our young and growing Company.

About the role:

Reporting to the General Manager, a typical day will see you involved in all facets of insurance as well as a wide range of administration tasks as required.

Ideal candidates would possess the following: 

• Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualified – Essential  
• Minimum 2 years Commercial & Domestic Broking Role
• Winbeat, MS Office, Sunrise/SVU and OfficeTech experience preferable
• Great telephone manner and exceptional attention to detail is a must
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
• A friendly yet professional nature and exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to build relationships with clients and Insurers
• Accurate data entry ability
• Willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative

  Duties in this role will include:

• Managing inbound phone enquires
• Contacting Insurers
• Processing of NB, Renewals & Endorsements for all policies
• Issuing invoices and checking Policy documentation
