Your Opportunity

We are a national general insurance broker located in Hervey Bay QLD. Due to our continued business development and growth we are seeking someone to come from an insurance broking background into the position of Account Manager/Broker where you will work on an existing portfolio of commercial clients.

The successful  candidate must possess the following skills:

• Experience within the financial services and insurance industry of at least 2 years
• Experience servicing business clients
• Experience working with Senior Account Manager and managing commercial portfolio of business
• Demonstrated ability to meet KPI's
• Sound computer skills, confident communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills
• Career focused, responsible, self motivated and enthusiastic.  

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Current experience assisting commercial account management within a broking environment.
• Sound knowledge of general commercial insurance products.
• Experience in managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Tier 1 broking qualification (or Tier 2 with a willingness to achieve Tier 1).
