Partnering and Process Advisor - Commercial Property Claims Specialist

We are looking for someone to bring their Commercial Property Claims experience, attention to detail and flair for process design to this unique role:

  • Building high performance and process excellence across the company’s offshore business partner and onshore claims processing teams.
  • Driving operational performance through documenting, implementing and maintaining high quality, efficient processes.
  • Delivering rigourous process change management and governance support and oversight.

The Role:

This role is part of the Commercial Property Technical Delivery team and will directly support the Partnering Lead and the broader Service Delivery team to build high performance across the company’s onshore and offshore claims processing teams, to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes for our customers aligned with the MPSC strategy and performance objectives.

In particular, the role supports delivery of the operational objectives that will maintain/lift the standards across our onshore and offshore partners and team members. The role also supports the business in its efforts to drive operational performance, through regular targeted interventions both onshore and offshore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive exceptional experiences for our customers along with financial measures and performance objectives.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver business outcomes;
  • Support the customer service delivery and business activities of partners as per agreements, to deliver a seamless end to end experience on/off shore.
  • Track and report on the business partner operational landscape and performance. Monitor and review the business partner’s SLAs, backlog and quality results. Provide onshore leaders with an update on offshore performance where there is a foreseeable impact on the onshore claims teams.
  • Support all offshore and onshore processes to ensure they are aligned with Commercial Claims’ purpose and strategic direction.
  • Key control point to develop, maintain and review currency of SOPs and CIKB with onshore SMEs, Technical Specialists and Leaders.
  • Work closely with leaders to capture, maintain and report risk issues through IRIIS across Commercial Claims including monitoring action plans through to completion.

Skills & Experience :

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills, Intermediate Microsoft Access Skills & Intermediate Microsoft Word Skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint applications.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Insurance.
  • Sound working knowledge of claims processes in a commercial environment.
  • Process improvement and risk management experience preferred.
  • Preferably 1-3 years’ experience working with internal/external vendors.
  • Proven problem solving skills – ability to investigate information provided, question results with a common sense approach, and break down problems and situations into simple lists of components and tasks.
  • Proven data analysis skills – experience with report building and ability to summarise large volumes of data and effectively communicate results to business stakeholders, understanding overall results at a detailed level.
