Our client is an emerging insurance broker with a growing book of clients in the accident and health and travel insurance industry space. Due to business growth, they are looking for a Claims Assessor to join their growing team. Close-knit, family culture and a business that is winning business through the strength of their relationships and robust claims management.
Responsibilities;
- Manage a mix of Claims across a range of clients
- Be a contact point to provide claims broking advise to clients through consulting, advisory, advocacy and negotiation;
- Assist clients at all stages of the claims process;
- Periodic reviews of lodged claims and finalisations;
- Production of standard letters and wordings where necessary;
- Inform the wider business (Commercial, Legal teams etc) around any problems with claims within their portfolio;
- Understand and uphold the requirements of the Insurance Brokers Code of Conduct in relation to claims
Candidate Background
- Given technical nature of the claims, prior experience in accident & health/ travel/ CTP claims management is helpful;
- Someone who is a natural team player and has excellent communication skills;
- Good attention to detail and ability to provide solutions and see problems before they become issues;
- Someone who enjoys working in a team where you will also get the chance to be add to the culture
