Due to increased demand, a great opportunity has arisen to work for a global insurance provider with an excellent reputation across the Australian market.

Our client is looking for an experienced Travel Claims Consultant to join their dynamic team and manage a diverse portfolio of claims.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse travel claims portfolio from end to end
• Taking incoming calls and enquires
• Guiding customers through all stages of the claims process, from lodgement to settlement stage
• Offering empathy and support throughout the claims process
• Developing relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Authorising claim files within your delegated authority and referring files outside of your delegated authority
• Identifying potential fraudulent claims and taking the appropriate action
• Providing excellent customer service in customer service at all times

About you:

• Some experience of Travel Claims is desirable however not essential
• An understanding of the end to end claims process
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail
• Customer service driven
• Great attitude and eager to learn
• Team player
